*update* took the car to another shop in Halifax, zero wrong with the vehicle, which confirms my original suspicions. They told me there was nothing on the list from the Midas shop that needed to be done and I could burn the rejection papers if I'd like because that's all they were good for.

Buyer beware! My wife took her car here for a safety inspection. 4 bays empty and 5 guys standing around in the middle of the day should have been a red flag. They rejected the car and told her it needed roughly $2000.00 in brake work. The funny thing is that I replaced all the rotors and pads less then 1 month ago in preparation for the inspection knowing they needed to be replaced, even one of the rear calipers that was replaced less then 3 months ago apparently needed to be replaced again. There was probably less then 1000 km on the new brakes. So either Ford OEM replacement parts from the Ford Dealer are bogus OR maybe these guys are just a bunch of crooks trying to rip-off a 70 year old woman who wouldn't know any better, absolutely pathetic. I'll be following this up with a complaint to the better business bureau.

Speedy fast. Took me in without an appointment. Oil change done and paid for within 15 mins. Fastest and best customer service.
